The answer to the meaning of Life, the Universe, and everything

The Answer is 42(Hitchhiker's guide to the galaxy) Seriously though, how many of us have wondered about the meaning to our lives? I thought today would be a good day to outline my spiritual beliefs. We are members of the Church of Jesus of Latter Day Saints... Yep the Mormons. I am convert to the church. Which really suprised my family, as in brothers and sisters. Having grown up in a non-denominational church I had some of the basics. I knew that Jesus was my savior, that he died to save us from our sins. That if we repented that we would go to live with him when this life was through. There were many unanswered questions, questions that no pastor or church leader could give me. There was always something missing that I couldn't quite put my finger on. Through the years I had many LDS missionaries come to my door, they too could not answer some of my questions. Finally I met Ben, my husband to be, I asked him the questions about faith that I had asked countless pastors and missionaries. He would go home and study the scriptures until he found the answers to my questions. I agreed to go to church with him. The second time I went to church with him it was general conference( The LDS church has a world wide conference twice a year) I heard the president of the church also known as the prophet Gordon B. Hinckley speak. The Holy Spirit whispered to me that this was a man of God. As I prayed to receive answers to my questions, The Holy Spirit had shown me that within Christ's true church I would find the answers I was looking for. I became a member of the church in October of 2004.

Since that time I have learned that I am a beloved spirit daughter of my Father in Heaven
That I was sent to this earth for a purpose. I now understand the atonement of Jesus Christ like I never did before. I have been married to my sweetheart in the Holy Temple for time and all eternity. What a wonderful feeling to know that not even death can severe our marriage covenant. I know that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of the Eternal Father, that he loves us and wants us to become more like him.
